The Sound of Global Warming

Rhine Singleton presented a musical piece titled The Sound of Global Warming in the Marulli Welcome Center yesterday to open the Throeau Gallery installation - Sonification: Turning Data into Sound - An interactive sound and video installation demonstrating the progression of global warming.
Musicians Marybeth Hallinan (piano), Kaitlyn Douglas (clarinet), Jesse Lowe (bass), and Andrew Lavoie (trumpet) joined Professor Singleton to perform the piece.
Those in attendance viewed the exhibit immediately following the performance.
The exhibit is in the Thoreau Gallery until May 3.
